Peñiscola Easter Week

Easter Week here is rather spectacular. Think great setting by the sea, with oodles of history …not to mention the fact that the castle was once a Papal Palace…

In fact, Peñiscola is the favourite time for the Spanish to spend Easter Week/Holy Week/Semana Santa.

If you do get the chance to visit Peñiscola at Easter, you will certainly have a treat. Depending on when Easter falls and the changing climate in general, the weather can be lovely, or it may not be. However if you’re lucky enough to get nice weather, this festival is an amazing experience. Here you can read more about the striking town of Peñiscola, which is officially one of Spain’s prettiest towns.
