We provide beautifully designed rooms and the best beds. Plain and simple.
We are situated in the very heart of the city, amongst the best restaurants, shops, theatres and attractions. If you don’t have time to trawl through our thousands of online reviews, we’ll tell you the most frequent phrases in order of how many times they have been mentioned: ‘friendly staff’, ‘superb location’, ‘comfy beds’ (as of 21.10.19). And yes- it sounds like we just made these up. But we genuinely didn’t. We are the no.1 Belfast hotel on booking.com and we are no.3 Belfast hotel on TripAdvisor.
What is your position on The Corona Virus (COVID-19)?
First, in line with guidance from the authorities, we have increased the frequency of cleaning and the focus on hygiene management in our rooms and common areas. Specifically, we have:
Increased the frequency of cleaning high touch areas such as bannisters and door handles etc
Reduced the number of times that guests need to interact with staff
Increased staff training on deep cleaning techniques

First night out in Belfast after the shutdown, got a good deal on a nights stay in The Flint.
Comfy beds, spacious rooms, big tv, fridge (and basically a full kitchen) – was generally clean and perfect for what we were after.
Couple of small points.. no reception staff when leaving so no one to validate parking tickets for a discount (as advertised on the website). We understand we are just coming out of a shutdown, but reception staff is what makes the difference between a hotel and a nice hostel.
Stained tea towel and used dish sponge in the kitchenette just took the edge of what was an otherwise immaculately clean room.
The website made a big deal about how nobody likes UHT milk and boasted about fresh milk in every room. We would have been delighted with some UHT milk in the morning for a wee cuppa as there was neither in the room.
But otherwise a really nice alternative for a change to a similarly priced hotel chain.
